25 th Anniversay Celebrations - How NIC Transformed the Waterfront
Change is inevitable over time. The waterfront, possibly the
most influential on the character of any harbour town has undergone
dramtic changes over the years through land reclamation of the
Sans Souci Hill and Trou Garnier areas and the construction of
the John Compton Highway.
The construction of the NIC buildings spanned from 1988 - to
1996. The latest addition has been the Castries Carpark facility
officially opened in 2000.
The following illustrates this transformation. To view still pictures click here.
